P.S.( I also used HIP before company Radium went under and now software wont reactivate. Here are instructions on moving HomeManage to a new machine: If you try adding other fields above 9 some will work and many will not.Īfter days of trying to get help I have given up and have just sent refund request. You can also move other fields around to meet your needs. The on right side find your field click it and move it up or down to where you want it to show and then click OK. If you used fields 1-9 your new field name will be in list under Available columns.įind your flied and click it and then click add. Now go back to tools, preferences and this time click columns tab. Once field 1-9 is selected type what you want new field to be and hit enter. So click a field 1-9 make sure its 1-9 and not how list appears. Now do not follow how number show and select field 1 or Field 2 or other low number dont select higher fields as they do not work. Then when there go to user defined fields. Some custom fields will work but many will not.Ī window will open so then click fields tab. You can create custom fields but many fields you create will not work as that is my problem. I am also new but will give you some help.

#HOMEMANAGE HOME INVENTORY WINDOWS 10 MANUAL#
Hoping someone can clarify if I have completely missed something which should be so easy with no manual as every program has a setup and preferences section to start the program off. Of course the only work around for inventory entering I can see is to duplicate an item with all the details (insurer included), but that still doesnt give me reporting as I have mentioned above) is over or under insured according the the insurance policy.which is for X$Īm I missing something so easy or is this such a simple issue not addressed as I am certain that no one would want to manually enter their policy no. Thus with reporting I cant see anything to show how my inventory insured for X$. With these 3 items I have had to select insurer which simply brings up the insurer, and as there is no insurance policy number provision in SETUP, I have to enter a long policy number every time- which is not acceptable. In fact you dont have any provision for the policy number in a data filed of an inventory item as its is obviously default from initial setup With Home Inventory Pro, the easy setup was entering your residence, and then entering your insurer, with amount insured and policy number and expiry date and these insurance details would be default for every inventory item you enter. I am lost for words how I have spent so long entering just 3 items to see if this Home Manage Software is a good replacement and that there is no details for insurance policy except the name of insurer and their contact details! I have a HUGE inventory to manually enter if I am going to decide on thjs program but not looking good from the outset. for 4 decades and know my way around just about any software.until this one.
